Welcome to the lively city of Kathmandu, teeming with vibrant markets, bustling streets, and captivating temples. Upon your arrival, a representative from Everest Dreams will greet you at the airport and accompany you to our comfortable accommodation. After a short rest, you'll have the option to explore the city at your leisure or partake in a guided city tour, depending on your arrival time.
Later in the evening, your experienced climbing guide will provide a comprehensive briefing about the upcoming trek. Join your team for a delightful dinner program, fostering camaraderie and anticipation for the adventure ahead.

After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we embark on a captivating full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, known as the "city of glory." Our first stop is Durbar (Palace) Square, a historic area brimming with ancient temples and remarkable Newari architecture. Highlights include Kal Bhairav, Hanuman Dhoka, Taleju Temple, Kasthamandap, and Kumari Ghar, the residence of the Living Goddess.
Next, we visit Swayambhunath Stupa, an ancient Buddhist stupa perched atop a hill, offering stunning views of the Kathmandu Valley. We then proceed to Pashupatinath Temple, an imposing Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, situated along the sacred banks of the Bagmati River. While only Hindus are permitted inside the temple courtyard, tourists can admire its beauty from the eastern side of the river.
Our final destination is Boudhanath, an impressive Buddhist stupa considered one of the largest in the world. The grand structure features four pairs of watchful eyes, symbolizing the vigilant observation of mankind's righteous actions and quest for prosperity.

Embark on an early morning flight with your climbing guide from Kathmandu to Lukla, a scenic journey lasting approximately 35 minutes. Enjoy breathtaking views of majestic mountain ranges and verdant hills as you soar through the sky. Upon landing at Tenzing-Hilary Airport in Lukla, your trek begins. The trail initially meanders through the charming village of Kani before descending towards Kyangma village. Continuing onwards, you'll pass through the picturesque Cheplung village, offering captivating views of the Dudh Koshi River from above. Crossing a suspension bridge, you'll then ascend a ridge to Ghat, passing by a school and adorned with Mani walls, Chortens, and prayer wheels. Finally, you'll arrive at the settlement of Phakding.

After an early breakfast, begin your trek by crossing several suspension bridges that span the Dudh Koshi River. Pass through the charming villages of Tok-Tok, Bhenkar, and Monjo before reaching the entrance gate of Sagarmatha National Park. Here, your permits will be checked. Following the riverbank for a few hours, you'll eventually cross the renowned Hillary Suspension Bridge. From this point, the trail ascends to Namche Bazaar. Namche is a bustling town known as the economic hub of the region, offering a wide range of amenities such as restaurants, cybercafés, pubs, post offices, ATMs, and banks.

On this day, you'll focus on acclimatization in Namche Bazaar, which offers several vantage points for acclimatization hikes. Options include a short hike to Everest View Resort, Thame, or Khunde, all of which are ideal locations for acclimatization.
Afterward, take the opportunity to explore Namche Bazaar, the bustling economic center of the Everest-Khumbu region. Additionally, visit the Tourist Visitor Center near the Sagarmatha National Park headquarters, where you can discover artifacts and exhibits showcasing the achievements of the first Everest climbers and learn about Sherpa culture and traditions.

Continuing along the banks of the Dudh Koshi River, today's trek treats you to awe-inspiring vistas of majestic peaks, including Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Taboche Peak, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Thamserku, and Kwangde. Traverse through dense woodlands and sprawling undergrowth, with the river accompanying your journey. Finally, you'll arrive at the village of Tengboche, situated at an altitude of 3,800 meters.
Tengboche is renowned for housing the oldest Buddhist monastery in the Khumbu region, also known as Tengboche Monastery. It offers a remarkable backdrop of the iconic Ama Dablam mountain, known for its picturesque beauty. Take the time to explore the monastery, adorned with ornate walls featuring Buddha sculptures, ancient musical instruments, and the robes of the Lamas. As you wander, you may even hear the mesmerizing hum and chants of the monks, creating a trance-like ambiance.

Make your way from Tengboche to Dingboche on a relatively short trek of around four to five hours. Enjoy the scenic route as you traverse high pasturelands and follow the Imja Khola. Pass through Pangboche, Somare, and Orsho, and soon you'll come across a point where the trail splits. Choose the path that takes you up to Pheriche, where you'll cross a suspension bridge and encounter a short uphill climb before reaching the delightful settlement of Dingboche.

Today, your journey takes you to Chukkung, where the trail showcases a rugged alpine environment with sparse vegetation, interspersed with arid landscapes and occasional shrubs and herbs. As you ascend, be prepared to be mesmerized by breathtaking panoramas of iconic peaks, including Island Peak, Lhotse, Chukkung Ri, and Makalu. Upon reaching the settlement, make your way to the tea house for a well-deserved break. Take a moment to relax before venturing out to explore the surrounding area. From Chhukung, the trail ascends steeply, heading south before turning east to follow the main line of the valley. As you progress, you'll wind along or below the southern edge of the moraine formed by the Lhotse Glacier. Enjoy a pleasant walk alongside a stream that leads you to a significant landmark known as Big Rock. To reach the Amphu Lapcha pass, the route extends southeast. Alternatively, a path crossing the moraines of the Imja and Lhotse glaciers takes you to a wide valley on the southwest side of Island Peak.

Everest region Trek is one of the most facilitated trekking destinations in the country, providing basic to luxury ones.
In this trail, you’ll be provided with a variety of cuisine to choose from. Nepali, Tibetan, Indian, and western as well as continental meals. As the region has small tea houses to luxury hotels the facilities they provide are basic to grandeur according to your budget. Try various traditional cuisine and popular snacks and delicacies renowned in the region.
Similarly, drinking water is accessible with natural water supplies which are untreated, so direct use of the water is not recommended, you may refill boiling water or cold filter water from any of the teahouses. However, if you buy a water purification tablet, chlorine drops or utilize SODIS (sunlight assisted) filtration procedures for further assurance, saving money and reducing plastic pollution.
All clients participating in any activity must have travel insurance. Personal injury, death, hospital expenditures, repatriation fees, and helicopter rescue. Any other disease covered by the insurance plan will be given. We highly advise you to acquire a comprehensive insurance plan from a trustworthy insurance company.
Accommodations are available in trekking lodges, teahouses as well as a number of hotels all along the trail, providing basic well-maintained, and reasonably luxury 5-star ones with additional needs according to your budget. Tea houses on the trail vary in quality and price, depending on the amenities they feature.
The tea house’s room has shared beds and some basic furniture like a small table or a chair. Normally, beds contain pillows and sheets and almost all tea houses provide extra blankets as it will be freezing at night. Usually, hot showers are available throughout the trek.
For trekkers who want to Camp, various campsites are available along the. On Base Camp, you will be accommodated in makeshift camps.
Every client must have a valid passport from the return date with a 6-month prior validity by the Nepalese consulate in your country or the immigration office at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.
